Why we started RotationSync
RotationSync began not with a business plan, but with years of conversations.
As a physician educator, Dr. Adam Karmali spent years mentoring medical students, serving as Chief Resident, Assistant Program Director, and teaching future physicians in both clinical and academic settings. Again and again, he met talented international graduates who were eager to learn but often struggled to navigate the complexities of the U.S. healthcare system and residency application process.
At the same time, Martha Karmali's career in education and business has been centered on helping people navigate complex systems with confidence. As a first-generation student pursuing higher education in the United States, she experienced firsthand how transformative thoughtful mentorship and access to reliable guidance can be.
Together, we realized that students weren't simply looking for more opportunities.
They were looking for someone they could trust.
Someone who would take the time to understand their goals.
Someone who would provide honest feedback, individualized guidance, and meaningful educational experiences.
